movies skip in dvd player towards end of movie

So far this problem has occured with two known movies that were backed up. -Movie plays fine until about last quarter of film then will skip, skip, skip, and get worse and worse as movie goes on and on. Finally skipping is so bad that dvd player will finally just stop the movie. I have been using dvd shrink and nero all along and hasnt happened until recently, I think. Possible solutions???

Dirty source disks?Cheap media??

Any suggestions?

Cheap media is the cause of your problem. Cheaper media is poorly manufactured close the to the edge of the disc, hence why it skips near the end. Obtain a more reputable & reliable brand of media and try/burn again.

Get a Sam's card and buy Verbatim, that's your best bet.

I have same problem at the end of movie. But in my case, it happens with all DVD movies. Movie play fine for 95%, and always on the end of movie i get heavy skipping and finaly it totaly block (tried on computer DVD player, Kiss 1000 and LG 8573).
Same thing if i use different DVD+-recorder (i tried 3 of them), i tried Traxdata, Verbatim media.
Only thing i use always is NEro.
What to do ?
