    problems playing a movie...help please!

I downloaded and installed XviD-1.0.3-20122004 codec and my movie still won't play. Here's as much info as I can give you

the movie file is:"be cool dvdscr xvid-done 1"
when i try to play it on Windows Media Player Classic, it stops responding and closes and shows a message about sending an error report.
When i try to play it on Windows Media Player 10, it says error downloading codec but the movie plays but there is no sound.
When i try to play it on my P2P program, it just doesn't play at all.

"When i try to play it on Windows Media Player 10, it says error downloading codec but the movie plays but there is no sound."

It should use the same audio codec for playback as the one you used when you created the XviD file...

i do not think he/she created the file... its against forum rules to discuss pirated content...

thats ok i downloaded another file that wasn't an xvid file. i think the xvid codec conflicted with another codec pack i had installed.

oh by the way sorry, i forgot to mention the movie file was not pirated or downloaded illegally, it was purchased and downloaded legally.

Naaaah - Not that it matters at this point, but I'd like to know how you can "purchase and legally download" a screener version of a commercial movie?

I didn't intend to pursue this any further (I thought the moderators would) but, since YOU'VE chosen to continue this discussion, please state from where you "purchased and downloaded legally" "be cool dvdscr xvid-done 1"...

why don't you want to give out your 'sources'? supose WE would like to 'legally purchase & download' a movie as well?
