Media Player Classic Playback Problem

Hi everyone,

I have been using Media Player Classic for a few months now, and for the most part think it is great. Lately however, I can't seem to open any files in it. As soon as I click on "File" to get the dropdown menu to choose "open", the program just doesn't respond... Ctrl O doesn't work either. This program used to work fine. I've even deleted it and redownloaded it, still does the same thing. Anyone know what's going on here?

does this happen ONLY in media player classic? i'm not sure it is the cause of the problem.

if your OS is windows xp, try doing a system restore to when it was working properly...
