    Grand Ultimate 2000/tv problem !help!

    Hi!

I got a problem, and I hope can help me.
    The manufactor behind it didnt.

I bought Grand Ultimate 2000 for about two weeks ago, and i have a freezing, hacking picture on my TV, but not on my computer.

    I have tried several solutions like 800x600 60 1024x768x60 .

It almost seems as it jumps over one frame at the time, (annoying for the eyes)

I have tried several steps to overcome this problem, including bios changing operation(several of them, as much as you can change in the bios).

    I got this:
    PII 400, 200 sdram, extra cooling (Big fan),ata 100, 30 gb
    Voodoo3 2000 16mb, extra cooling, pci
SB awe32 extra ram on it as well.
    Nic intel pci 10/100
    extra USB pci card
    Windows XP pro (swedish ver.)
And i gets the power for G.UM 2000 from a free USB.

    and the TVset is a
    Sony trinitron 28.

Could it be, that my graphics memory is not enough?
Or is it that voodoo 3 2000 16mb is not good a enough for
    displaying movies on tv

The reason why I bought the Gran Ultimate 2000
is that I have the need for a display on pc/tv at the same time.

    My best regards!

It could be your graphics card (16 mb)...Did you have a look at the cables (faulty cables would adversly affect quality)

exept the hacking of the image of cource
The problem is, I think, must be computer related.

Was this always the case? Or is this a recent occurence? Also, for tv out most people use a tool called "TV TOOL" you may benefit from it.

Secondly, have you tried changing the resolution and color (to like 16 bit)?

          Hi! Batman!

Hmm! I will test a friends graph and see if that will do..
Its a better card.. but I do like my voodoo 3,
It makes wonders to the games.
the movies displayed on the pc screen 1280x1024 is displayed brilliantly. Its just the tv thing that bugging me..

It hurts when my head is smashing in to the wall....()%&%¤#

In Canada, we usually put our head in the snow Guess there must be snow in Sweden. Changing the resolution and color may improve quality---give it a try.

The gadjet i use is a special tool.
it is connected between the graphic card and the monitor cable.
tv-tool, when it is started it searches after a tv.out compatibel graphicscard.
              but it cant find any.

Cant get any lower then 800x600 16bit (voodoo 3 and win xp)

Because Grand Ultimate 2000 is not in the computer its on the
              outside..

ANd i have always have had this problem( I bought it 2 weeks ago)

                About the snow thing..

Its bright sun here 10-15 degrees celcius outside
best time of the year now. our summers here are as hot as in hell
+20 +45 degrees in the sun celcius during the hottest period during the summer.
In the wintertime it can be cold as in hell too.
Minus 20 is no exeption.. not all the time and not in the entire country

You may want to ask your retailer or check their website. You may also want to upgrade your drivers for the device (and see if its properly installed in device manager).

About snow, I expected the exact opposite. Where I live the snow has only now started to melt (and its April!!!). You're right the summer's here are also hot as hell. With windchill the temp goes below -40 sometimes -50 C. Sweden's pretty cool I guess

                    Hej again!

The device doesent come with a driver.
If it aint connected via com-port or usb,ps2 scasi
the computer cant find it anyway

It sits between monitor and graph just like a T-cable.

Of cource the computer doesent find it.

I did get one reply from the support of the device by the manufactorer. listen to this.

"Adjust the sharpness on the tv"

                    How dum can they get.
And they have the same on the website as the manual for the device.
They are assuming that there product is just going to work

Maybe the company relies on pure "magic" to make their products work

What is this product---I've never heard of it. You mean its just a cable? Can you please explain this to me again. This cable is supposed to let you play pc stuff on your tv? Maybe this Gran cable is faulty then, and you could try to get a replacement from the manufacturer.

The principe is like a t-cable but it is a
vga2tv box. It becomes a T, so as speak.

                        It looks like a usb-modem.

It have vga in. s-video out, rgb out, composite out
and pal/ntsc screen adj. zoom switches on the side.

                        the specs is here:

Have you implemented the manufaturer recommended refresh rate? and 24 bit color?

The things instructed in the users manual is the same as on the manufactorers website. I believe I have read it 6 or 7 time by now.

They aint have much for troubleshooting on the manufactors website,

Belive me I have tried everything I can think of, thats why I turned my call to this wonderfull website.

Here in sweden the clock is now 23:19 , for a change I will turn my self to bed early.. bye for now
