Before I reformatted . wmp would play my ac3 files but now it doesnt and for the life of me I dont remember what codec I i8nstalled to allow it to do that . Anyone know ?
You have to install (and register with Windows) the iviaudio.ax (or similar) filter in order to have the Windows Media Player play .AC3 audio. If you want the Windows Media Player to play MPEG2 videos, you'll have to install (and register with Windows) the ivivideo.ax (or similar) filter as well...
