Audio out of Sync

LOTR - The film starts fine but after a while the audio is out of sync with the video and by the end the difference is about 5 secs.

Any way to fix this?

I would mess around with virtual dub

As Deus mentioned use Virtualdub, also guides at divx-digest.com and vcd-help.com may prove helpful. Alternatively, you can manually adjust both audio and video bitrates using Synchronizer, however back-up your moving before "playing around"
