from MP4 to mpeg/avi

i have a MP4 file format, size 4MB, 1 minutes
need to upload this file into my website.

i wish to reduce the file size and also convert to most users viewable file format.

1. what is the file format you recommed? what software to convert? (will quality remain?)

hi you could try winavi its quick and you have several options for format but .avi is prob the most common.
