while trying to convert a dvd to an .avi file using the dvd2avi instructions i decided to try the instructions at the very end:

(at the bottom of the page)
does anyone know how to tell if this has audio? i followed the instructions but i don't know if there is audio. running the file through virtualdub, no audio seems present. the "audio data" field shows "0"
even in the instructions for vfapi, the picture shows the "audio output" box greyed out.
i tried to see if i could find more info on nicky page's digital solutions, but no luck.
