Record DivX on VHS problem.. Please Help

Hi! Anyone know if a program exist to bypass the protection of new VCR? Because I'm trying to record a DivX to a VHS but my JVC HR-4600U recorded it in black and white. It should be a code that be send by the computer like when I record a DVD to the VCR the same thing happen. Anyone Help?..

how are you connecting your video card to the vcr (rca, svhs, etc?), and does the output appear to be in full color on the tv before you try and record.

I'm connected with a S-Video cable and I tried with RCA too .. the picture was in color but on the tape it's in black and white.. a vcr protection maybe?.. I can't record DVD .. same problem.. the picture was in color but if I record a DVD it's in black and white..
