Covert mpeg4 to play on home DVD player

A friend of mine wants to convert an mpeg4 file so that she can burn the resulting conversion on to a DVD disk and then watch the video on her home DVD player. Is this possible please?

    Many thanks.

For converting AVI to DVDs you can try TMPGEnc Plus and DVD author (commercial tools with free trial) or use Avi2DVD (freeware). You can use AviSynth to frameserve MP4 to HCEnc which is a great MPEG-2 encoder too
