Audio 2 secs ahead of video

My audio is constantly 1-2 secs ahead when playing DivX movies on my Alpha 2.0 using the 5.01 codec. Im running it on a P2 400 with geforce 2 mmx 64mb and I have tried every possible playback mode and I have also set my screen res. lower etc. Should I switch to eg. 4.x codec?

Try playing them with the Windows Media Player v.6.4...

That should solve your problem. Otherwise, i've posted other solution such as GDIVX player several times in several posts

Unless you have movies in the divx 5.xx formats, I would uninstall them and revert back to divx 3.11 alpha.

Thanks for the tips. Im currently running Media Player 8.something, so ill go with the GDivX-player first and se what happens...
