Playing multiple divx files on one disc?

Hello, I hope someone can help. I have quite a few dvd-+rs/cd-rs with multiple DivX files on'em. The problem is every time I play'em, I can only watch the first one. After the first one is done, it goes back to the root folder where only the one I just got through watchin is displayed. So my question is how can I watch the others? I'd appreciate anyone's input on this, thx.

P.S. I have 3 different DivX-compatible dvd players and the result is the same on each one.

Click on the movie file you wanna watch.

But if you are reffering on continously watching the following movies, I am pretty sure you can do that either in the menu settings or one of the button on your remote controll.

If you click FFWD on your remote, does that bring you to your root folder?

I can't click on the one I wanna watch because there's only one I can click on. Whatever file is first on the disc is the one that automatically starts playin when inserted. When I stop playback it goes to the root folder/file browser and only that one file is displayed. The others are nowhere to be found. So basically I'm askin how can I watch all the files on disc as opposed to just the first one? Not necessarily in one continuous motion, but pickin the one I want in the file browser after the first or second one is done. Sorry if I wasn't more specific the first time around.

P.S. I don't use a burnin app when it comes to divx files. I basically just drag the files to the blank disc in D: as if I were archivin them. Mentionin this to help clear things up a bit if needed.

First of all because i'm positive there's more than one file on the disc. But for argument's sake let's just say I wasn't sure. I would then put it in my dvd-rw drive to confirm that indeed there was more than one file on there.

Did you try to play them in your computer ?

I understand what you are saying. I also I have the same problem. I have a portable dvd player that plays everything and it will play multple xvid/divx files on a dvd-r. But my home dvd player that is divx certified doesn't see but only the first one. Also, I have noticed on my portable dvd player, sometimes it has problems with some after the first one on the disc. If there is a program to put a menu on the dvd and put the divx/xvid files in seperate folders so you could select which one you want to play, then I am pretty sure it would work. I am looking for a way to do this, this is how I came apon this post. All my dvd players have no problem finding multiple vcd/svcd movies. If you run across a way, please let me know.

Don't just copy the files as raw data but instead burn'em with Nero. Select DVD-ROM (ISO), drag the files in the order you wanna watch'em and then burn. If you wanna continue addin files on that particular disc in the future, make sure you check 'Start Multisession disc'.
