Jerkiness w/ Universal Movies to Divx

Hi, I have made divx movies that were not made my Univeral Studios and they came out perfect. But when I encode a Universal movie the playback around a fast motion scene is sometimes choppy and jerky. The software i always use to encode is Flask MPEG 0.594 and Smartripper to rip the DVDs. How can I fix the choppyness problem when encoding?

Either check or uncheck "Reconstruct Progressive Images"...
