Help turning clips into a DVD

I hope I am posting this in the correct section. I have a Sony DSC-70 and I took several video clips at an event now I need to put them together. I used Windows Movie Maker and was able to put them together and then I used DVD Flick to move them to a DVD however the audio is lagging and I am at an impasse. I wouldn't mind starting over but I do need to get a finished product. Can anyone help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
