audio glitch

damn,every time I encode a divx movie with Dvdx 1.8,there's a glitch in the audio!Used lame encoder,mp3 encoder,..nothing helps...Every 5 secs or so there's a little error in the audio...Doesn't happen with flask mpeg though...
Any suggestions please?

There's one OBVIOUS suggestion, based on your statement ;>}

Another one is that, from reading several related posts over the last month or two, it appears that the older version 1.6 is less buggy than version 1.8...

But Dvdx has an advantage---->if I encode a movie with dvdX,then the audio stays in sync if I jump ahead in the movie,even in mediaplayer...If I use flask Mpeg,I HAVE to use Tha Playa or Global Divx...

ps:think prob is solved...all my movies are +-1.3 Gig.After I split them with Virtual Dub,everything is fine!
