Playing DIVX movies in WinXP crashes!

    Hi guys,

I don't know what's up with this!! I have noticed two or three times now while I'm playing back a DIVX movie in Windows media player 6.4 in Windows XP, sometimes randomly without warning the computer spontaneously reboots!!!!!!!!

Is that insane or what? I mean that is just crazy...WinXP professional is supposed to be like Win2000, it shouldn't totally crash like that??????

I have a KT133a chipset, latest 4in1 drivers, Gforce2 GTS pro with 2183 nvidia drivers....

    oh and divx 4.11

    hmmmm, weird

i've experienced this on an 98se system ONLY with avi playback, too,

for me, however, latest via 4in1 did the trick!

I came across a post in the viahardware forum where someone is experience the exact same thing I am whenplaying back divx movies. So it looks like a problem with the KT133a chipset and WinXP....
There was a beta patch last night that i installed....so let's see if that fixes it.
