    XP Codec Pack

    Hey guys, I'm a newbie here at Audio Codecs and was wondering if you could guide me on this whole codec thing. I have installed the latest XP codec pack but still get some videos (WMP ver.10) with no sound. Ran Codec Detective and says there are 3 drivers broken or missing as follows:

    Broken Codecs
    -------------
    DivX Decoder Filter
    FileName =
    FFDShow Video codec
    FileName = C:\WINDOWS\system32\ffdshow.ax
    Nero Digital Video Encoder
    FileName =
    Can you tell me:
    A) do I have the right codecs installed?
    B) where do I get these drivers

    Thanks for your help

    Uninstall the codec pack, download & install ffdshow.
