Help: removing multiple parts of AVI in one run

    Hi guys,

I have a divx-encoded AVI movie file that is from a TV show. The movie is about 30 minutes, but is plagued bu multiple commercials.

So my question: is it possible with some specific program to edit the AVI file so that all commercials are cut off in one run? I mean, is it possible to cut off let's say frames 200-240, 315 - 378, 500-590 etc. without saving and opening the file many times (after each cutting)?

If yes, could you please recommend a program and basic steps how to do the above-mentioned exercise? Will be much obliged for the spared time and efforts.

    Greets.

Thank you, will try this as soon as possible. Good thing I know VirtualDub a little, so perhaps it will be easy to figure out how to follow your advice.
