Hi, I recently upgraded to windows XP and I need to install a 3.11 codec but I cant because its not supported by XP. I installed 4.12 and divx 5.0 and the movie still doesn't work i know i need 3.11 but i don't know what to do
when i go into the install it says that this product may not be supported by XP and the D/L page on here says that 3.11 is supported by Windows 9x/Me/2000 only
If you have bothered to read through the forum, you will have found many similar threads on this one. The answer is a Yes. There is no problem whatsoever in installing 3.11 and getting it to play 3.11-compressed DivX files on Windows XP.
Who has time for that in this world of high speed internet, DIvX and such!?!
