    QuickTime

    Hi Guys,

I've been given a QuickTime file that wont play on Windows 7 or XP.

I'm a little confused as to what codec I need installed in order to allow Windows Media Player to play them.

    1. How does one know what Codec's required to play a given QuickTime file? A friend checked the file on his mac and said that this is what was reported:

    Codecs: H.264, AAC, Timecode
    Colour Profile: HD (1-1-1)
    Audio Channels: 2
    Bit Rate: 1,612.72 kbit/s

What Codec do I need on my machine in order to play this and how does one inspect a quicktime file in order to determine this?

    Thanks
    Warrick

I use a converter called Domino Video Converter Pro to deal with my conversion problem. You can try it.

Thanks, but that's not really what I was asking.
