I'm at my wits' end! I've had VD on my new Win7 (64-bit) for a few months, no prob, then suddenly I've got no output video, even with a straight avi in Direct stream copy! I do have sound, and I have the video in the Input window.
I've also lost all WMV video (In or Out; I do have the WMV.vdplugin plugin). I've tried reinstalling VD and codecs. I now have Shark007's codec pack installed but when I load a wmv I get a "no audio decompressor" error in the Input window (Output window "plays" a 2-min video in 10 seconds - still no image).
Every other video tool plays fine. I've tried previous versions of VD, the 64b version, all the same! Since just 2 weeks ago.
It works on 2 other machines, so where have I not looked? What obvious tweak have I missed?

AMD Phenom X4 965, 16GB RAM, 64-bit, ATI Radeon HD 5700
