WMV to VCD & DVD to MP3

I have downloaded some Madonna videos in the WMV format. I want to convert them to VCD and write them on a CD so that I can play them on my DVD/VCD player. Also I have to AVI DivX files which I want to convert to VCD.......how do I do the above 2? Which softwares? Are they available for free anywhere on the net???

Also I want to convert songs from some of my DVDs (again of Madonna) to MP3's. Any free softwares available for these???
