Please Help!Head clogged on my recorded tape!
We were shooting an event with a JVC 500 and it didn't show there was a problem until we viewed the tape. It is full of digital drop out with no audio ---I beleive this is from a head clog and I desparately need the audio from the tape. Can anyone give me a company or person or solution (I hope) where a recorded head clogged tape can be saved??? Thanks!

Get a cleaning tape or carefully clean the round drum in the compartment with alcohol, or take it to a good camera shop.You raise the blade,
You make the change,
You rearange me till I'm sane.

The clog in the camera seems to be gone, but the tape is full of dropout and has no audio. Is there anything that can be done to salvage this tape?Comment

Since the audio head on the tape drum was clogged, it ruined the audio recording. There is no way to recover or repair the audio track. Since the audio did not make it on to the tape.Star Baby Girl, Born March,1997 Died June 30th 2007 6:35 PM.
