2D video to 3D video converter?

Is there 2D to 3D video converter, or some way to convert 2d to 3d video? I wanna put my 2d video to my 3d tv for playback.

Some TVs have built in 2D to 3D conversion though (Samsung, Sony, LG), which works just as well, if not better, than the method described above.
