encoding video's captured through FRAPS

i have recorded games video using fraps and when i try to convert them using MEGUI the color gets slightly off and the result are not satisfiying

please help me in this regard

EDIT: fraps capture video in raw format so a 1 min. clip is around 800~900MB in size

any s/w which can give good results will be appreciated

Which codec did you use in MeGUI, as the choice of codec (and settings) can make a big difference when it comes to quality/color output?

i used x264 HQ slow and tried many bitrates but didnt tried to resize it but now i will use resize as well [1280*xxx]

source video was 1400*900

i tried on diff. games videos but every time color seems to different

no matter how high the video bitrate/size i select .. i can never get a sharp/clear video
