WMV Audio Unsupported

Please excuse if this has been posted before; I couldn't find it.

When trying to convert/burn a wmv file, Dvd Flick advises that "Windows Media Audio Professional V9 .. is currently unsupported". Is the some way to get around this limitation?

Download GoldWave trial. You should be able to drag and drop the video onto GoldWave and save the audio in another format. Then use AviDemux to substitute that audio track.

It might be best to save as .wav. But someone else may have a better idea. AviDemux can encode to DVD. Here's the Wiki docs:

I decided to revisit DVD Flick and proceeded with the DVD burn in spite of receiving the cryptic message. Somewhat surprisingly, the conversion to video and subsequent burn (w/ CDBurnerXP) produced a completely acceptable DVD (no audio problems). So it's not clear that the message had any critical importance.

As an aside, I also tried using Windows DVD Maker to do both the wmv to DVD conversion and the actual burn, and it also worked well (albeit a bit slowly). Prior to discovering these two approaches, I scoured the net endlessly looking for free applications for wmv to DVD. I'm pleased I found these two.
