mpeg 4 problem.....help..

hi everyone, i having problems viewing movies, everytime i watch it, it keeps blinking in pink..like it's blocky with pink then it disappears and then returns..it keeps doing this process..it's bugging me..the file is mpeg 4 movie.. i installed codecs..and divx..

anyone know how i can fix this problem..?

the codec that it says it reads it is MS-MPEG4..

i think that is the problem..how do i remove it..

it's probably encoded using angelpotion codec. i had the same problem. some advised me to remove divx alpha 3.11 but it didn't work out for me. i think there's no solution but getting another copy of the movie which is encoded with another codec

Try a different player. While experimenting with the Virtuoso player, I found it had a real problem with certain AVIs - same behavior of pink and green blocks....
