which is, in your opinion, the best DiVX-Software-Player?

    hello folks,

I was testing out alot of software-players wondering which would be the best. I'm tired if searching for the best divx-player, so i just state my question to you, the insiders. I'm sure you know some real nice players, so give me some help please. Just post the name of the player you like most or think it's the best.

    thx, slash

Windows Media Player 6.4 has always worked very well for me, so does PowerDivX.

well, wmp 6.4 worked well for me, too ..... until divx 5.xx was released. Now my movies get stuck when scrolling them, or the movie freezes (divx anti-freeze doesn't work btw). So I tryed another player, some problems were fixed, some were still present. Can you give me any help in adjusting the divx-codec? I would like to use wmp 6.4 in the future, it's simple and fast.

        thx(!), slash

It doesn't matter if I use the BSPlayer or the WMP 6.4, the problems are the same. Is there any special function you need to activate? PLEASE help

            regards, slash

I have a laptop so heat is always an issue, GDivx runs perfect and averages 30-40% cpu usage, less than WinDVD uses to watch a movie. Good for battery life as well.

                GDivx
