    Crash goes the browser. 50/50

Hi this is my first post. I just can't get over this particular problem.

Alright, i made a couple of divx's to one cd quite happily at a ridiculously low bitrate and everything worked fine.

Now i've tried to make two files to fit on two cd's with a higher bitrate and the second file somehow is busted.

Example: Smart ripped my vobs, used flaskmpeg to create two jobs. One from the start to the centre and from the centre to the end. Set the settings such as 1500bitrate and 128bit mp3 etc. And hit flask.

When i got to watch them the first file plays perfectly, but the second crashes my explorer!! What the? The have the same settings created in the same session. Does anyone know what i've done wrong or if i can fix the second file somehow, i've tried divfix that doesn't help.

To anyone who can help, thanks muchly.

It's a weird problem indeed, but I can't see why you would set Flask two make your movie in two jobs. Surely it's much simpler to make the whole film and then use VirtualDub or AVIChop to cut it into two.

      Yeap

Yeah i've come to the same conclusion in my search for an answer. My latest half assed effort is ripping two vobs, making the divx's individually from each. Then i quickly open/save pipe them through virtualdub direct stream to correct a playback issue i've got (i think it's cos i have no idea what the keyframes should be set to.) but the final output file looks great and i'm happy.

Though i'm switching to nandub and ditching flask as soon as i've finished this one.

      Thanks.
