Is the audio off from the video for a fixed length of time all along? Or does it gradually go off more and more? You can correct it in Virtualdub itself.

lets say its both fixed length and it gradually goes off...how would i fix this with virtual dub...

        But here's what it says

"AVI: Varible Bitrate (VBR) Audio Detected. VBR audio in AVI is non standard and you may encounter sync errors up to 10137ms when attemping to extract WAV Files or Processing the audio in direct stream copy mode. Full Processing is recommended to decompress or recompress the audio. (bitrate: 103.4+16.0kpbs"

Yeah thats what it gives me when i load a Anime AVI...and movies too

If fixed length: Audio/Interleaving/Audio skew correction.
If gradual desync:Video/Frame rate/Source rate adjustment/Change so that video and audio durations match.

Use Subtitle Workshop for this. But remember, the colour change will show only in your PC(in a software media player) and not in the standalone player.
