Adjusting sound wont work

Hiya all, im new and got some probs with Vista..
I cant adjust soundlevel in WMM so i downloaded Virtual Dub but i cant find an option to alter my sound.

Its a 7 minutes MPG file made with a digital camera but it recorded the sound too soft.
Normally in WinXP WMM didnt have any probs with it, i moved the slider a bit to the right and my volume level was good however WMM vista does have that option but it not workin properly..

any help would be apreciated,

which vd version do you use exactly?

im using vd 1.9.9 (build 23817/release) by avery lee

go to => Audio and select "Full processing mode"

now you should be able to use a compression of your choice and use the "Volume" option
