"burn" subs into the movie

i would like 2 "burn" the subs into the movie so i dont have 2 use the subs (.smi). What should i use? The reason is that the movie is 2 big (720mB) and i cant cut it 'cause of the subs.

Subtitles can be "burned" on the movie with for example VirtualDub ( www.virtualdub.org ) using the VobSub filter
