Resize problem in Zoom Player playback on the new Aldi PC

I have a resize problem in Zoom Player on my new Aldi PC.

In Windows 98 in had no problems I would set aspect ratio to fit to window, and redefine a window size that got rid of black bars.

The new Aldi PC runs XP Home, with a 128Mb ATI Radeon 9800XXL Video card.

With this I cannot disable aspect ratio, so when I increase the height to remove the bars, the width increases in proportion and a lost most of the picture.

Is this the video card or Windows XP, and how can I fix the problem.

Not sure what you wanna do...

You wanna stretch the video horizontally to remove the black bars ???

Hmm, what AR has the video n' what AR is it supposed to be...

Thanks for replying, but I have solved it now, the new PC had pre-installed codecs.

What I did was put on zoomplayer, and assume it would work as before, so I did not add or alter any existing codecs.

However, when I put on the nimo codec pack I also installed filters that were not pre-installed on my system like DivXG400, this seems to have fixed the problem.

      Thanks for answering.
