    nero configuration help needed

I posted earlier to another section of the forum about an InCD problem and it was recommended to un-install it, which I did. I had to un-install everything and then I re-installed Nero without the InCD program.

Now when I go into Express to make a dvd menu and import video for the menus, it won't import the video. It doesn't send up any error messages, it just behaves as if it had done the job.

    Any ideas anyone?

I've played with different configurations, but nothing seems to help. I just upgraded from the Nero site, has there been any problems with errors doing that?

I visited the Nero site and couldn't find anything on this problem.

To determine if the DVD Plugin is detected, fire up Nero Vision Express. If you get the DVD Video option at the top of the menu that appears, then it has detected the plugin. If not, then it will probably have the old menu structure for just VCD, SVCD and miniDVD.

Have you entered the serial code twice : in Nero and in Vison Express?

I'm not sure as I had a computer tech guy in town do it for me as I was getting to point of throwing everything out the window.

(sometimes you just have to walk away!) honestly -- this stuff is more frustrating than a 3 year old child -- when it finally works it is so-o-o-o-o much fun, but in the meantime....

He downloaded all the nero upgrades online after loading it up and then when I got home with it, the stuff I wrote earlier happened and I took it back and he did it all over again and this time it seems to be working. except that the dvd plays only in my pc now and the audio is choppy. I posted earlier today about it - (subject line: jerky audio, plays in pc but not dvd players)

Thanks, I don't what I'd do with out this forum, you guys are great!
