    endings wont play

ok, i'm very new to this dvd burning thing, just got a burner last week. i got dvd shrink to try and back up some movies to dvd-r but when i check the copy, it playes perfectly untill the last 10 - 15 minutes. i've had this happen with most of the ones i've made so far and cant figure out why? i tried shrinking the movie even more to keep it from completly filling the disc and that didnt work. could it be the discs i'm using, or is there some other problem that i can easily fix?

i'm using dvd shrink to encode and burn onto ****ty compUSA 4X discs.

using nero to burn? can you post the log? c;/programfiles/ahead/nero/nerohistory.log

"i'm using dvd shrink to encode and burn onto ****ty compUSA 4X discs."
this very well could be the problem.

what speed do you burn at? try 2x.

what is the make and model of your dvd burner? you should be using "compatible" QUALITY media for your burner aswell.(see below)

also you need to make sure the firmware is updated.

ok, i dont know how much of this you need, but this looks like the whole log of one burn. i did a cd-dvd speed test with nero and it showed all the errors at the very end of the disc. why would it only mess up at the very end of every disc? would shrinking the files even more possibly help?

Columbo, I see your reference to Incd and have seen other msgs to "get rid of incd". How do you do that? Where are they?
              Thanks in advance.

ok, last question (hopefully) how do i get dvd shrink to burn at 2X? i set the option when i click "backup" at 2X but then when it finishes encoding and starts burning, it does it at 4X anyways. I've tried doing it at 1X even and it still just does it at 4X. help.

also, is 2X the best speed to burn at, or is it half of what your max is? i'm using 4X discs with a 16X burner. if i got 16X discs though, which speed should i use?
