Dvd bURNING

When i burn a movie in nero recode it only lets me burn my 4x dvd at 2x and when i want to burn my 8x dvd it only lets me burn at 4x

Make sure your drive has the latest firmware version, use Recodes latest update and are you using quality media? post id code.

also in the burn compilation window check the burn speed and set to max. for some odd reason nero has set my burn speed lower a few times

i always do that and it still does the same thing

Having a nero issue, I have always used Memorex dvd+r to back up my files and all of a sudden, nero is tellin me that these are illegal discs, have checked the firmware it is up to date.

DJWilk - You may have got a bad batch of "Memorex". It has been known to happen, as their "Media ID" changes frequently! Take those back and get a different bundle or try some other media.
