I'm pretty new here and need some advice. I just got a new laptop and I am looking for an external dvd burner. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L35-S2174. It has an Intel Celeron M CPU, 1.6GHz, a 60GB HD, and 512MB of RAM, I am already planning on upgrading the RAM to at least 1 GB. Anyway, I'm looking for an external dvd burner and need a recommendation for a reliable and durable one, it'll spend quite a bit of time on the road.
On my home PC, which is an HP, I have a burner that is light-scribe, which I don't really need, 16x, and use Sonic as my burning software, which I like. If someone would like to make a recommendation for different software, I'm open for suggestions on that too. Thanks.
