      I've changed the title of this thread to match the article's title, as required by this forum's rules. I've put the extra information in brackets.

      As for the news, it is interesting. If Digg has the resources to fight this, and I'm sure they have, they should probably do it. A lot of these Internet websites (eg. Google, MySpace, YouTube) have resources that can match any of the media companies.

      The issues here are: whether these keys are copyrighted (they are licensed, and someone has paid to be able to use these keys for sure), whether posting them is illegal under the DMCA (allows circumvention to occur?), and whether websites should be responsible for user generated content (is it even possible to moderate the millions of messages generated daily?). I can see arguments for both side on all points, so it won't be a clear cut case.
