    Can't author a XDVD

I'm trying to put 12 30 min. TV episodes on one DVD. My reading lead me to believe that I could use TMPGenc to create an XDVD that could easily hold 6 hrs. I used TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress to create the XDVD mpg files. The total size of the 12 files is 3.9 GB. However, when I import the 12 files into TMPGEnc DVD Author 3, it tells me that they're too big ( 4654 MB ).

I tried changed the encoder setting on XPress to only use 90% of the disk. The files were smaller but when I loaded them into Author, it gave me the same error and the SAME SIZE!

What the heck am I doing wrong?
    Thanks, Dennis

      Yes I ticked the box

Thanks for the suggestion but I did have that box ticked. The good news is that I answered my own question. In total frustration, I decided to ignore the project size, select Custome Size, and create the DVD files. I was completely surprised to find that DVD Author doesn't attempt to recompile the files. It only took about 20 minutes to create the DVD files and they were well small enough to fit on the DVD. The projected size is totally misleading. Assume that XPress did it's job and all will be well.
