Playback problem with short clips - timeline skewed

    Hi,

I have this problem with many, many short clips I download.

The timeline will be going too fast, and when it runs out the audio will keep playing but the video is frozen on whatever the last frame is.

If you click back to, say the middle of the timeline, you will see a part of the video you hadn't yet, but again, the timeline runs out and you're froze.

75% of all clips I download seem to have this problem - mostly the shorter ones. Any ideas to fix this extremely annoying problem?

    Thanks.

Have you tried playing them again in another Media Player? If you have and they play OK, then it's the Media Player that you use that is the cause. Also, try a DVD. I don't mean watch the whole DVD, I mean flick through bits and see if the audio keeps up with the pace. If it's still acting wrong in the same way, try re-installing the Media Player because it might be corrupted.

What are the file types? They might also be dogey ones.
