Hiya, just started trying to use Tmpgenc (version 3.0.5.149) and i'm having trouble with the video playback. I'm doing Pal to Pal, changing the frame rates seems to make no difference, audio seems fine and the files playback perfect as Avi's through any Media Player I have. But when I view them through TMPGEnc's Simulation the difference is easy to see (but hard to describe!)
I've gone through a few tutorials and seen my settings are the same as what is suggested so i'm a bit at a loss.
I've tried this with various files, and even just 1 file to check that i'm not shrinking the original size too much...and still the same! I just don't see how I can change any more video settings than i've done yet the results are always the same.

best way I can describe is if i watch the video there is a lack of definition and if I look closely can see vertical lines
