The US Copyright Group, otherwise known as Dunlap, Grubb, & Weaver, has filed a new lawsuit against 2,177 for downloading the horror film, Cornered!
Another 171 "Does" were sued for downloading the movie Familiar Strangers, bringing the total number of those sued to over 16,000, in the last nine month.
In an unrelated incident, a bomb threat was emailed to the offices of Dunlap, Grubb, & Weaver this week. The police were called in, and bomb-sniffing dogs were used, but not actual bomb was found.
