A/V synch problem w/DVD Flick, .vobs on HD ok, DVDR not

    Hello,
I posted here earlier regarding DVD Flick crashing with a "file not found error". I had forgotten that a few hours after I first set up DVD Flick to start processing the 6 .mkv video files for this project, I accidentally shut down my Popcorn Hour C-200 media player for a few seconds, this is where the.MKV files were stored so I'm pretty sure that's what caused the error. Thing is, DVD Flick didn't actually crash until about twelve hours later. The menu I had selected was the same menu I'd used earlier when I successfully processed six .AVI files.

Anyway, I tried processing the same files again this time using a different template and the project ended successfully. However, after burning to a dual layer DVD-R, I noticed the audio and video were out of sync on the DVD-R, it wasn't very bad but it is noticeable. I tried playing the.VOB files from my hard drive with VLC and noticed the audio and video seem to be in perfect synchronization. Any idea what the problem could be? I used imgbrn to burn the ISO (selecting the .Mds file) onto a Verbatim dual layer disc. For what it's worth, my PC has an i70 870 with 12 GB of RAM and I wasn't using the PC during the burning process.

Any thoughts on how I can get these .VOB files to a dual layer DVD-R without the synchronization problem? Also, I know video and audio files can take a long time to convert but it took DVD Flick almost 2 days to process the six .mkv files I was using, can I expect that same processing time if I use a different DVD authoring application?

Thanks for any info you can provide and thanks to the two people who responded to my earlier post.
