media player classic: playback 23.98fps video @ 25fps

    Hello all

I was wondering if there is any way to watch any 23.98fps video (avi, mkv, xvid, divx, h624 whatever) at 25fps. I dont want to convert it/recode it, I just want to plyback-it slighty faster (@ 25fps).

Is it doable? I use the old media player classic 6.4.9.1

Reclock is what you need. It's a DS filter that works with Media Player Classic (a tray icon will show when you play a video - click on that to change framerate settings).

Thanx man, works like charm. Although I would prefer a more "internal method" or hack if possible than this 3rd party program. If there is any other way, tell me, if not, this is good. Also it doesnt support all format types; I opened a avi with xvid video and it didnt worked.. But it opened an mkv, so it works for mkv videos at least.

Xvid video works for me, but it depends on how you've set up MPC perhaps (if it's using the internal decoders, and not a DS decoder like ffdshow, then it won't work.

Don't think there's a better way to do this than via Reclock though.

Ok. Thanx for your answers. Last word is that is very buggy; it crasses all the time.
