I always try but the time is get worse when I set the setting at 16x < then 12x so I give up

I rarely use imgburn because it's device buffer jump up and down very bad compare to dvdd I try a few time so my burning engine is still dvdd, I can share the result but most of them are YD or TY at 8x, + is burn by 40 and - are burn with 50 or 55.

still waiting for that Pinoneer to see if I can hit 16x

I've seen it posted at freaks that the time difference between 12X and 16X ain't worth it. And most Lite On's don't get a QS above 95 at any speed anyway. In my test earlier today, I was surfing, had a 100 CPU load because of Folding @Home and still got a QS of 93 with a 12X burn on CMC MAG E01.

Well Chewy, you knew I would have to try it. So here are my results, I only tried it once. I also kept everything running on my computer, hooked to the net, Norton Internet security and Sytemworks running, and also windows update running.

I burned this Sony AccuCore 16x -R disc, MIJ, TYG03, @16x. It is a file of 4,681,414,656 bytes, so it is full. The duration was 5:45, with a max of 16x.

The scan has 134,443 samples, and was beautiful, with only 403 PIF's, until the glitch at 4.25 GB. It then went up, but was still a very good looking burn, and as you can see no problems at the end of the burn.

              Thank you, guys.

I thought for sure I had an under 500 PIF burn there, until the slight glitch at 4.25, but still it is only 614 PIF's. So I was glad to see it turn out so well, and only cost me one disc to do it. I also thought the Max PIF of 2 was great. I hope I supplied all the info and also the requirements you wanted to see and use, let me know what you think Chewy.

Also I did forget to mention it was burned on a TS-H552L Samsung drive.

                          Thanks,
I guess this means maybe I am getting the hang of this.

@NightTran I will mark the disc and rescan in 6 mos.
I'm sure it will be interesting.

back in december I tried another dare, noone took me up on it, even at cdfreaks, for some reason I named the png's for soup?
I guess this one was just too crazy?
