I'm not sure what "and getting rid of it all is like curing terminal cancer" means. Please explain.
        Sorry.

Well it all started with easycd, they were the leading burning software quite a while back, they became roxio then sonic then gear etc. There way of programming tended to interefer with any other burning applications. There
removal routines are badly written. Just this week I confirmed their new
stuff can even keep ImgBurn from working. I really can't say enough bad about them, kinda obvious when they keep changing names.
At least they wrote a program called roxizap!(chemotherapy)

            Chewy,
I had used roxiozap on my other computer when I first installed Nero 6. It all started just as you said. I had easycd (factory installed), Roxio and so on. Nero works well. I had a problem with burning speed and stand alone CD player(Marantz).
I have to set it to 4x not 8x(default). Imation media CD-RW. No DVD burner in this machine.
I have done some compilation video burns. Sonic did a great job. Sonic came with the computer. I have never had a problem burning due to potential Sonic's interference. If I was to start Chemo, is there an alternative to burning compilations? Free maybe? Also, would this also be the reason why Infotool couldn't read some of my system?
            Thanks,
            CJ

sounds reasonable, sonic's way of hosing the bus

For movies you can always make iso's and use imgburn(but donate)

Can DVDD be used for the ISO creation? Is there a specific guide?

Yes it can. Read the guide.
"Wanted in 14 counties of this state. The condemned is found guilty of the crimes of murder, armed robbery of citizens, state banks and post offices, the theft of sacred objects, arson in a state prison, purgery, bigamy, deserting his wife and children, inciting prostitution, kidnapping, extortion, receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods, passing counterfeit money, and contrary to the laws of this state, the condemned is guilty of using marked cards...therefore according to the powers vested in us, we sentence the accused here before us Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Ramirez also known as the Rat and any other aliases he may have to hang by the neck until dead."

How about menu creation? Sonic has this feature.
