In TMPGEnc, under the "Environmental Settings" "VFAPI plugin" tab rightclick on the "Direct Show Multimedia Reader" and increase to one greater than the highest priority of listed items. This will enable TMPGEnc to accept a properly encoded .AVI with .AC3 audio for input...

You may have to use "AC3Fix" to fix the audio header (You'll have to first demux the audio and video, use "AC3Fix", and then re-mux)

Ok I'll give it a try but 2 questions left:

          1) I've to demux the avi (what works fine) or the mpeg file (where audio is not running)?

          2) If I double click on ac3fix nothing happend. Is there a need to put it into any Tmpegenc folder?

          Big THX so far......

Ok I got it. But it doesn't work

            What i've done:

            1) I demuxed the mpeg
            2) I got 2 files. a video mpeg file and an audio mp2 file (not an ac3 file?) But this file doesn't work!!!!
            3) I loaded this mp2 in ac3fix and it started. After processing it ends in an error message. Look at attachment

            I'm still confused
