I got a LG GSA-T50N from an ebay store which described it as a generic slimline laptop IDE DVD drive which can work with most laptops.
The Drive was intended to be used with a Toshiba Satellite M45-S265, but did not get detected by the bios.
After reading few posts on the internet, I came to know that older Toshiba laptops require an IDE DVD drive with inverse csel (cable select) firmware.
I came across multiple firmware files for GSA-T50N, but do not understand the difference between the listed files @ LG GSA-T50N Firmware Downloads - Firmware HQ
I request guidance from the forum to identify the firmware that supports inverse csel.
Thanks.
