Hi everyone.
I was formatting my hard disc drives today and during the format the pc froze. I did a soft-reboot rather than a full power off and then on again.
The HDD's are 2 x Western Digital Raptors 36 Gig each set in RAID 0.
I had set them up using the VIA Raid Chipset, and everything was fine, (this is done during boot up). Then i went into windows control panel, administrative tools, and to the computer management, then i used that to format the Array. It went fine untill it froze.
I rebooted and they were not recognised by the VIA Raid Chipset, so i tried them with the Promise Chipset, and the same this happened.
I hope that they are not very damaged as they cost a fortune and they are only about 2 months old.
If anyone knows what to do about them then i would apreciate their help.
Thanks
