Fm Tuner S-video Wont Work

I recently bought a philips fm tuner it works great for watching cable tv on my flat screen and all but the main reason i bought it was for the s-video output to my 47" tv. I cant get the s-video to work at all i have reinstalled the drivers like 3 times but no luck. you would think just plug and change the video on yuor tv but nothing what is the deal. any suggestions would help! thanks guys
